Hello and welcome to our information page for future guests of Offley Place!
We are so looking forward to welcoming you to our beautiful country house hotel in the village of Great Offley, Hertfordshire.
We know weddings are a long and busy day, while you’re here you’ll want to be celebrating and having fun, so we’ve put together a little guest guide to Offley Place.
We recommend reaching us via A1(M) junction 8 / A505 between Hitchin and Luton
Local Taxis
We recommend the following local taxi companies that we can assure will take you anywhere you need to go:
We always recommended pre-booking taxis to avoid disappointment, however many of them will still be available on the night.
Our nearest train stations are Hitchin (4.2m) and Stevenage (9.2m), and the nearest airport is Luton Airport (6.2m).

Our hotel rooms are reserved for the bride and groom, it is their decision who they decide to open these to.

Your invitations will tell you what time you should be at Offley Place for. We have onsite parking around the side of the country house.

Guest FAQs
Yes, we have WIFI throughout our country house.
We have only a limited number of parking space on site, any additional cars can be parked on the grounds.
The bar will close at 11:30 and the venue closes at 12pm
Yes, only in outside areas
The opening time will be dependent on what time the first event is at Offley Place, typically it will open an hour before the first event.
The bar will close at 11:30pm.
Yes you can leave a car overnight- however these are left at the owners risk and need to be removed by 10:30 the next morning
Check in time is at 2pm and check out time is 10:00am
Dogs are welcome to attend the ceremony in roles such as a ring bearer and can stay for a few photos afterward. However, we kindly request that a dog handler escorts them off-site following the photo session. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
