Leisa and Lee were married at Offley Place at a beautiful ceremony in our manor house conservatory on the 3rd of September 2022.
The pair met at work all the way back in 2009, in 2016 sparks flew and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Lee proposed to Leisa at her 40th birthday celebration at The Ivy in Covent Garden.
They held their heartwarming ceremony in front of 110 guests in our manor house conservatory and were joined by 40 more guests for their evening reception in the Hester Ballroom.
Leisa and Lee were initially attracted to Offley Place due to the exclusivity, set up and location, in particular they loved the Hester Ballroom and the spiral staircase with the chandeliers.
Leisa was dressed for the day in an ivory dress from Confetti and Curves bridal boutique, while Lee sported a three piece blue set with cream waistcoat and dusky pink cravat from Mr Macky’s. Leisa’s bridesmaids wore dusky pink OnlyWay multiway dresses and the flowers girls wore ivory dresses from John Lewis, while Lee’s groomsmen were dressed to match him. The pair didn’t let the rain get them down on their special day as they have a team with umbrellas escort them as they made their way to the top of the conservatory for their ceremony. Luckily the rain stopped just as the couples merged newly married out of the house for the confetti shot!
During their drinks reception, Joyrider acoustic duo lit up the room and entertained their guests while they sipped on bubbly and nibbled on canapés, it truly was a beautiful moment. Their guests were over the moon with the food, with many commenting that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had- especially the mini meatball starter! The couples absolutely loved the addition of the ProPose Photo Booth as everyone now has some amazing memories of the day to cherish forever! Their favourite moment of the day by far was walking into the conservatory and seeing each other for the first time knowing that in a mew moments they would be husband and wife! After their stunning day the pair jetted off to the bright white beaches of the Caribbean, to enjoy their honeymoon at Crystal Cove in Barbados (we’re very jealous!).
The couple really valued Offley Place’s support during the planning period, making sure every last detail had been thought of and that everything ran to plan on the day. When asked to give some advice to newly engaged couples looking
start planning their weddings, they advised to make lots of lists and spreadsheets, making sure you take notes at all meetings to try and stay as organised as possible!
